Wanderer IIIcTrauma Troop CardsTrauma Troop has five kinds of cards available. The cards are sold to anyone who can afford them. The cards are priced according to benefits and cost between 10 000-500 000 EY per annum. PLASTIC, 10 000EY: A basic, but popular card among the general public. This card does not include any additional benefits and is activated on breaking the card. A Trauma account is not available. BRONZE, 30 000EY: The same as Plastic, but comes with an account attached. 15 000 EY from the initial fee is deposited to the account and will be used towards treating the patient. Deposits can be made to the account at will. The card is activated by breaking. STEEL, 100 000EY: A high-level basic card which is activated as the consciousness of the patient is reduced, for instance when the patient passes out. In addition to the card the customer is equipped with an implant that handles the call for help on the behalf of the client. The implant operation takes roughly 10 min. The implant is EMP protected. The customer also receives a card that can be activated when need arises by breaking the card. GOLD, 250 000EY: As Steel, but with an account. 100 000EY from the initial fee is deposited to the account and will be used towards treating the patient. Deposits can be made when so desired. PLATINIUM, 1 000 000EY: A true luxury item. Similar to Gold, but with an option of a brainscan. If the patient dies he can be cloned and the brain can be fed saved data from the last brainscan. Thius way the patient is assured his old memories, information etc. The patient will have to come in for an occasional brainscan every now and then, during which the old data is updated. Each additional brainscan costs 20 000 EY. Cloning will have to be paid separately, and the cost is about 25 000 000 EY. The account option is available, but no initial deposit is made from the fee, as in Gold. MiscellaneousEach card is registered to an individual and the identity is shown on a Trauma scanner during activation. The cards also emit a signal that helps Trauma Troop to locate the card holder. The cardholder can also break his card during an emergency that is not personal. In this case the Trauma Troops come to the scene, but the card holder is responsible for the expenses. If a card is used a new card is supplied without any extra fee. In-Game a person who is injured and breaks the card, or as with Steel, Gold and Platinum, in the case of loss of consciousness, the player calls a number that is specified in the beginning of the game and gives Trauma Troop his location, identity and the type of card. Time stops during the call and is calculated once you have reached Trauma Troop and have hung up. If you do not happen to have a phone or can't borrow one, you will have to report personally. Once again time starts to run once you have reported to Trauma Troop.
