Wanderer IIIc
How to prepare for the game
What to think beforehand
-
Players are to make all their weapon-, cyber-, bionics- etc.
props by themselves. Any equipment that is listed on the
character sheet is lost if the player has not properly propped
it. Even if the player makes a good looking prop of something
not allowed for the character, he will not be able to use it in
the game.
-
The gaming area in Finland is huge mining complex. This means that it
might be dusty, colder than normal room temperatyre and there will be
lots of environmental variability between different gameareas.
This means that you should prepare to have more than just minimum
clothes for your character. And please be prepared to indoor camping,
in a concrete floor.
-
The GMs urge you to mark all your things so that we can
minimize losses.
-
It is a good idea to be there in time. We'll try our best to arrange
public transportation for all the players.
-
Pack you weaponry in such a fashion that local mundane
law-enforcers do not feel encouraged to arrest/shoot you.
Equipment - what to take
-
Everyone is to have a clock with them, preferably a wristwatch.
-
Take only such weapons that surely will be accepted by GMs. For
example, if you have modified your soft-air weapon to be too
powerful you will not be allowed to use it in the game. All
weapons will be checked and marked. If the marking is removed
the weapon is in-game broken, and can be fixed by getting it
approved again.
-
Everyone has to have eye-protection. If you are not sure of
your glasses take an extra pair with you. They will be tested
under rifle fire. Note that your glasses must also shield your
eyes from the sides, so that even a ricochet cannot reach you
eye. For eyeprotection, check gogles w3c.wanderer.org/rules/goggles
-
Take your character, and any extras that came with it (e.g. gun
permit) and do NOT forget to take your rulebooks. We won't supply
rulebooks from the gameplace.
Equipment - what NOT to take
-
Ammunition (6mm plastic) of any kind (Real ammunition is
of course right out).
-
Drugs (real or simulated) are not allowed in the game area. Everyone
caugh with real drugs are automatically handed to local police (off-game)
and will be banned for all future games. The in-game drugs will be
confiscated if noticed.
