Wanderer IIIcDrugsEffect lenghtsThe lengths of the effects are announced as follows: Effect lenght/neutral state/late-effects (the mild stuff, which have no late-effects announce only the effect length). Before the late-effect there is a period of time, when the late-effects have not yet begun, but the desired effect has disappeared. This is the time, when one should enliven into a post-trip mood, even if the feeling is getting back to normal - the experince is fresh in one's memory. NOTICE: The late-effects of a drug CANNOT be eliminated by taking another drug. If you're feeling sick after Bodyslam and you take Mirage on top of this, then you'll be feeling sick with visions. (which may be fun and and challenging from the point of enlivening). Effects on healing take place during the WHOLE effect length, for example: Control VAI: 1t/2t/1,5t PAR+10%; healing slows down by 10% for 4,5 hrs. AddictionPsyche has its affects on addiction. The addictionvalues have been written to psyches 4-7. Psyche 1-3 addicts less with one dose, psyche 8-10 can withstand one dose more without getting addicted. The addictive amount means the number of SEPARATE usages during a week. There's a number which informs this. Late-effects/weaning symptoms Game-instructions:* As long as the character is not fully addicted the late-effects may be played pretty loosely, but they are not to be forgotten. When the character becomes addicted, the weaning symptoms are made of TRULY intensively-played late-effects, after which the character has trouble in thinking anything else than getting a new dose and he may have random short shocks of the late-effects involved before he gets a new dosage. Over-dosagesA fatal dosage follows, when too much of the stuff is taken in a too short time period. So: Over-dosage-number is that amount of dosages, which affect At The Same Time. Or: Taken together, or taken before the effects of the previous dose have gone, The over-dosage-number is written to the average BT, so a Strong BT can handle that one dose more and the Weak BT will fall down with the first shoots. Etc. Over-dosage will prove fatal if the character is not stabilized within 15 minutes. More fun under the title "Bad combinations of drugs." Soberup-medicine can overpower any overdosage. A FATAL over-dosage cannot be acquired from all drugs. Over-Dosages from the following drugs will only make the side-effects so horriblem that the character cannot speak or walk and is incapable of any actions within the next three hours: All mild Drugs, hallusinogens, all sex-drugs, Mello. An over-dosage will begin to have its effects as soon as the fatal dosage has been taken, and there is no neutral interstate. we recommend that the player would perform a minute-long extreme-version of the drug's effects, after which he/she would loose his/her consciousness.Marks: PR=prop, VAI=lenght, SIV=side-effects, PAR=effects on heling time, OD=over-dosage ADD=addictive dose amount , $=prize. The world reamains as a logical whole self, but you're associating it into the previously mentioned... The new world experienced during the trip may be any kind of world, depending on the personality of the abuser, his/her interests etc. For example: The Wanderer-ship is the Moominhouse. Oh, that ZPG guard is so happy as you greet him with that merry "Hei Moominpappa" -shout.... NDuring the neutral, the abuser receives flashbacks from the previous trip. Side-effects would be associated with the theme of the trip: In this example the junky would probably be surrounded by dozens of Little-Mys who all swear curses in a loud voive. PAR: +10% ADD:4 OD: 2 $: 80+ COCKTAILSThese are mixes, most of them are Uppers and Hallusinogens. These are the good stuff for parties: You'll be more energic and now as all your senses are more sensitive, the party seems more intensive. This stuff just DIES FOR YOU TO PARTY! Alcohol tastes good in the middle, but it won't make you tired, liek it could in other cases... If you don't remember to drink soething in addition to alcohol, you may even get dehydrated. Sometimes it even proves fatal Rave (ST,CT) Mild, legal. A usual party-sprite. PAR: +35% ADD: 2 OD: 2 $: 20-30 Chill (MD,X) illegal. An excellent drug for solos. Will make you feelingless towards all the other people's joys and worries. Clears your head and triples your ego. You are a god - No one can harm you. You are so cool. Assassins' favourite drug... PR: VAI: 1t/2t/1,5t SIV: Unfeeling towards other people remains, but that self-confidence falls down and paranoia lifts his ugly little head. The people are laughing at you... right behind your back... PAR: - ADD: 3 OD: 3 $: 250+ Control (MT,ST,BL) Illegal. A thinkingdrug, The favourite of deckers and crazy scientists. Physically as tiresome as any downer, but this won't bring that foggy state of mind. Au contraire, thinking is clear and rapid. This stuff has turned from the freaks' hobby into the netters' tool, So the different variates are pretty clean nowadays. PR: VAI: 1t/2t/1,5t SIV: torment, paranoia, low-selfrespect and thesse are ONLY psychological effects, but it won't make them less annoying; You know how incompetent you are if you don't use control. PAR: +10% ADD: score on psyche OD: 4 $: 30-50 Funk (BL,X) illegal. This ingenuous drug puts together all the BAD EFFECTS of UPPERS and HALLUSINOGENS, but it makes you feel DAMN GREAT!!! Increases the withstanding of pain (like the pain editor) and durability. The party drug of the really rough guys. VAI: 30min/1t/45min SIV: pain, bleeding from all the holes of the body. NOTICE!! Players who use Funk, remember to take fake blood with you to the game. PAR: +50% ADD: 2 OD: 2 $: 80+ BAD DRUG COMBINATIONSFreefall Funk Rage / Tilt These are all so rough, that you don't want to take them together. A combination of any of these two will cause chestpains and heart-rhythm-disorientation. Then you're going too fast, after which your heart's gonna have an attack. Chill & Rage / Control & Rage The talking unit in the brains will totally get confused, followed by total paranoia and afasia into all directions; speaking turns into pig latin, and no one understands no one. This takes about 40 minuuttia. A hit in the midst of the Believers. Cool & Muumi together cause 20 minutes of total catatonia. A hit among SM-people for the really despaired moments. Inferno & Wacko/Rage/Funk Feels like your skin is on fire. The poor thing will rip ALL (the shy ones almost all) their clothes off and go to look for some cold water or ice. Videodrome/Muumi & Mindblast/Wacko A short schitsophrenia-paranoia-scene. "I am the soap salesman and you're the clocksmith and he knows and she wants to kill me... heehee..." Your loved ones eyes shine like the fires of hell in a certain light, don't they? you have to play this well... the condition will last for half an hour... Ten minutes is all eccelerating to paranoia full-speed. Funk is the merry stuff. You don't want to take anything medium strong, hallusinogens or cocktails with this one. (Videodrome, Muumi, Mindblast, Wacko) After it you just sie to comit destroying acts... Typicly, the target is the self, not anyone else. Funkh brings withstanding to the pain (like the pain editor). Maybe you're tired of your cybernetic arm and you want it off off right away... The state lasts for ten minutes, after which the character falls unconscious, his bladder relaxes, which means that the player must throw 3 dl of water on his pants... Tilt together with any sedrug will also cause this phenomena. It's enough if you take both during the same 24 hrs, in any order. the bladder thing happens within a minute after the next tab. DRUGS AND CYBERNETICSWacko alone or combinations Strato & Muumi and Rage & Muumi will mess the cybernetics. The reason being, that they mess up the nerve systems' mediator substances' actions, after which the communication between the flesh and the machine won't quite work. This state lasts about thirty minutes. "Static" cyber (skin tissue, underskin pocket, sub-skin armour, SynthHair, Rippers, Wolverines etc.) won't be affected by the drugs.
